CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONChristmas Celebration at KVT was organized on 22nd December 2022. One could easily notice the excitement of Christmas in the students’ eyes. A very beautiful crib was prepared by a team of teachers which brought added glory to the celebration. All students were assembled in the assembly area for the programs. Carol songs were sung, dance was performed, skits, a drama was staged, and so on. A person dressed up as Santa Claus paraded through the crowd and distributed sweets to the students. By the end of the program, the Principal addressed the gathering with Christmas & New year wishes. The sound of merry bells echoed on the campus and filled the hearts with bliss. TWINS DAYNational Twins Day- DECEMBER 18th, is a day to celebrate the special bond between twins, whether identical (monozygotic) or fraternal (dizygotic). “Twice the blessing, twice the fun. Two miracles instead of one!” The Twins Day celebration at KVT was absolutely beguiling for all the KVTians. The memorable moment was captured as a picture in a photo frame specially made for them. What a wonderful way to celebrate the special bond between identical twins or even fraternal twins. CHILDRENS DAY“Every child is a different kind of flower and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden”. Children’s Day reminds us of the birth of Pt. Nehru, our country’s first Prime Minister.KVT celebrated CHILDREN’S DAY with all its radiance and glory. All the students are cordially welcomed by the teachers with flowers and sweets when they entered the school premises in the morning. The day was commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm, and magnificent prayer followed by a variety of cultural programs planned by the teachers for the children where the teachers entertained them out of love for their beloved students with a variety of programs on stage. The garden of KVT was glowing gracefully and colorfully with the presence of our student community on the occasion of Children’s s Day celebrations. All the students enjoyed the day to the fullest. TOURNAMENTGame on! Stand tall, talk small, and play ball. We hosted the 2nd District level basketball tournament and 5th District Level Table Tennis Tournament for KVT’s Rolling Trophy. The inauguration was presided over by the chief guest Mr. P. Senkathir, DIPE, Madurai District, and the Valedictory was presided over by the chief guest Mr. Badri Narayanan. Gold Medalist, Para-Badminton International medalist. Winning isn’t everything, but wanting to win is! Nearly 38 teams participated in the Table Tennis Tournament and 25 in the Basket Ball tournament and every team which participated, played with their fullest potential and with sportsman spirit to grab the trophy. Various activities were organized to encourage participation and to promote the creative and aesthetic skills of our students. Tiny tots of KG enjoyed some great ideas and played simple games about learning shapes. A fun-filled and joyful activity provided our little ones a platform to develop and showcase their latent talents. Highly enthusiastic and excited students engrossed in creating beautiful things with different shapes were really worth seeing. DEEPAVALISparkle and Shine! Its Diwali! KVT, which illuminates the student’s life with the brightness of education by warding off ignorance, rightfully celebrated the festival of lights in a grand manner through awe-inspiring speech, skit, colorful and graceful dance, and melodious song. GREEN DAYEverything around us is an array of colours. Green is the most common colour in the natural world, think of nature and see green in all its glory expressing renewal, life and energy. In order to teach our children about the uses of colours in their immediate environment and to help them develop an understanding of green colour in many forms, KVT organized different activities on 14.10. 2022 for the tiny-tots of Nursery. All the students and teachers came dressed up in different shades of green and the classes became vibrant with the beautiful green backgrounds. Students were taught the identification and recognition of green vegetables, leaves, trees and various green objects Celebration of the green day provided an opportunity for the little KVTians a practical learning experience with joy. YOUTH AWAKENING DAYDream, Dream, Dream. Dreams transform into thoughts and thoughts result in action.” – APJ Abdul Kalam KVT celebrated Youth Awakening Day, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, on 15.10.2022 (Saturday). It is celebrated to recall insightful thoughts to empower the youth and transform India into a prosperous nation. GOLU-NAVARATHRIIlluminating towards the right path The brightness of Navarathri fills our days with cheer and our dreams come true. The celebration started by offering prayer to Goddess Nav Durga and seeking blessings to protect everyone from evil. An eye-captivating Golu arrangement was done in the school lobby and the pooja was performed every day to invoke the blessings of god to the entire universe. The divine bells and the prayerful minds made the entire campus filled with positivity. RED DAY‘RED’ “The colour of love and smiles and illuminates the air with energy, vigour and exuberance……..” ‘Red’ colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality. The day started off with the colour red everywhere red dress, red rose, red teddy, red car, red apples, red cherries, here a red………. there is a red….. red everywhere ……..our little ones spent a spectacular red day. Bulletin boards displayed red craft works done or prepared by the children. The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful. The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children sort and classify objects based on colours thereby reinforcing cognitive skills. It was a fun-filled day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness. TEACHERS DAYSaluting the Master Builders of the young Minds. ‘Thank You’- Though a simple word, is a meaningful phrase. The students of KVT expressed their sense of gratitude by presenting a band of wishes and cards prepared out of their own creativity to their lovable teachers. Students entertained the teachers with their scintillating performances on stage. Words of gratitude were expressed by the students for their teacher’s selfless efforts in molding their bright and successful future. VINAYAGAR CHATHURTHIGanpati Bappa Morya! Festivals build group cohesiveness, bring people together, break the monotony of routine, and energize the body, mind, and spirit. Echoing this festive spirit, KVT celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with much zeal and zest in a virtual assembly on 11 September 2022. The Festival, Janmashtami of Lord Krishna was celebrated on 18.08.2022 with great zeal and pomp. The holy book of Hindus, The Bagavath Githa was recited and explained by the students of Std XII in English & Tamil. The tiny tots came dressed up as Radha and Krishna and stole the hearts of the viewers. Various cultural events depicting the birth of Krishna and in praise of Krishna were performed by an enthusiastic team of students. INDEPENDENCE DAYFreedom in the mind Faith in the words Pride in our school. On 15.08.2022 with great patriotic feeling and respect, Independence Day was celebrated. The Chief Guest unfurled the Tricolor Flag and all in unison sang the Flag song. From singing patriotic songs to presenting a variety of programs the day went on with the fragrance of Patriotism in all the minds. A vibrant patriotic parade was displayed by the students dressed up as freedom fighters. Flags and Sweets were distributed to the students to mark the day. YELLOW DAYYellow- the color of wisdom and intellectual energy had a positive influence on our tender tots.”Shades of yellow stimulate our little ones with happiness, energy, and optimism……. The motive of celebrating this yellow day was to make the children aware of the yellow color, and its significance to develop fine motor skills in the students. A day dedicated to the yellow color was marked with children dressed in different hues of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favorite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day”! Focusing on the theme, the teachers planned art and collage activities and the children’s artworks were displayed on the soft boards. Cheerful Children attired in yellow outfits were sparkling with optimism, enlightenment, and happiness. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment. TOY’S DAY“Toys are children’s words and play is their language.” The relationship between a child and a toy is like a relationship between flowers and their fragrance, as both cannot be separated. As toys are not only meant for playing but also for enhancing knowledge and skills in the kids. We at KVT celebrated toys day on 15.07.2022 to instill speaking skills among the tiny tots. Students brought their favorite toys to create a Toyland. The little ones were encouraged to come out of their inhibitions and speak about their toys. This activity also enhanced the value of “Sharing is Caring” in the minds of the young ones. KAMARAJAR’S BIRTHDAYNot everyone’s life is history, No history has ever lived for himself. On 15.07.2022, The King Maker- Kamarajar’s birthday was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect. Our students presented colorful cultural programs and speeches. Indeed, it was a day of love, joy, and respect for our great leader. As part of the celebration music, drawing, essay, and oratorical competitions were conducted class-wise to portrait Kamarajar’s elevations from a simple person to a successful Kingmaker of the Indian Cabinet. INAUGURATION OF CLUBS“Clubs are the instruments through which one can find their hidden talent” The inauguration of various clubs of the school for the academic session 2022-23 was held on 14.07.2022. International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st, June in KVT with the theme “YOGA FOR HUMANITY”.The students performed various Asanas depicting the benefits of yoga.
