Green – The colour of Life

As Green represents growth and prosperity, green day was celebrated in an enthusiastic way at KVT campus. Our tiny tots OF Pre-Primary learnt about the importance of green and the positive effects it has on our lives. The classrooms buzzed with vibrant green entrances, festoons, things and objects. To educate our kids to care for nature, they were made to grow fenugreek saplings and present it on the green day. Adding beauty to these entire elements, our kids too dressed themselves in different shades of green, thus making it a perfect green day.

Vinayagar Chathurthi Celebration

It was a day filled with spirituality, festivity and pomp as we celebrated Vinayagar Chathurthi in a grand manner at KVT. Students enticed everyone with their song, dance and skit – praising lord Ganesha and thus bringing the spiritual feel in the minds of all.

A Good teacher is like a candle burning, it consumes itself to light the way for others

Teachers’ Day celebration was celebrated in a grand manner by the KVTians. Students expressed their love, gratitude and appreciation for their teachers through various events like the grand welcoming of the school band which lead the procession of the teachers, followed by an array of events like students writing and reciting poems about teachers, dance, mime show – where action spoke louder than voice, soulful song and students surprisingly presenting every individual teacher of the school with roses, which made each teacher feel very special on the Teachers’ Day.

VALOR IS STABILITY NOT OF LEGS AND ARMS BUT OF COURAGE AND THE SOUL

Our proud KVTians Zaheer Hussain and Padmasri Akahaya of grade 7 attempted in the world record conducted by Simbam Achievers Book of World Records-2024 by attempting 78 types of silambam methods for the longest 78 minutes non-stop stick rotations, held on 18th August 2024 at Madurai District.

EXPERIENCING THE MAGIC OF MADURAI’S VIBRANT HERITAGE AND CULTURE

Maa Madurai, a celebration of Madurai’s rich cultural heritage intertwined with a vision for dynamic growth and progress. KVT joined hands with Young Indians (Yi) and participated in all the four day events and won laurels in categories like Dance and stand up comedy.

ADDING FEATHERS TO THE CROWN

It was the proudest moment for KVT and KVTians when we received a certificate of appreciation from the state government of Tamil Nadu for producing cent percent results in Grades X and XII.

CHOTTA COPS OF KVT

The Primary Kids of KVT were trained to become “Chotta Cops” by the resource person Ms. Premalatha of Young Indians (YI). The Primary kids were oriented regarding road safety, rule and regulations related to the traffic rules and how to act as a kid cop and ensure the strict adherence to the rules starting from monitoring their own family members.

YELLOW DAY

“Shades of yellow stimulate happiness, energy, and optimism.”

We at KVT celebrated Yellow Day in a grand manner with the objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow among our Tiny Tots. The school arena was decorated with shades of yellow. Adding beauty to all, the kids too dressed up in different shades of yellow, thus making it a perfect Yellow Day.

“Talent wins games but teamwork and intelligence wins championship”

We at KVT consider that sports are an incredible part of our lives. We give our players opportunities to push their limits and give their best by conducting basketball and table tennis tournaments annually. Players from various schools participated and won the matches. It was a proud moment for KVT as a host, when the home teams won the championship in the table tennis tournament continuously for the third year and runner up in the basketball tournament.

KAMARAJAR BIRTHDAY

Educational Development Day’, the birthday of our former chief minister, Mr. K. Kamaraj was celebrated at KVT as a tribute to his contribution to the people of India in the field of politics, welfare schemes for the needy, education and many more. Kids of Kvt sang song and delivered speech to honour and highlight the remarkable achievements by Karma Veerar Kamarajar.

PAPER BAG DAY

“ Stop bagging the planet, say NO to plastic bags”

We at KVT observed this day to spread awareness about plastic pollution and encourage our kids about the use of environment-friendly alternatives which will help to reduce plastic bags. Our kids were taught to make DIY-Paper bags and were motivated to use them.

PARENTS ORIENTATION

A Parents orientation was conducted for all the parents to enlighten them regarding the school curriculum and the advancements of the technical tools used to educate their wards. Parents, teachers and the management interacted with each other and clarified their doubts and queries.

TOYS DAY

“The Relation between a child and a toy is like a relation of flower and its fragrance as both cannot be separated”

We celebrated Toys Day to make our little ones more energetic, joyful and creative. We created an atmosphere where the kids felt that they were in the toy’s world. Many of our kids dressed themselves as toys and gave a fascinating performance. Our children had their best time with toys as it plays a pivotal role by improving their imagination and the value of sharing. We at KVT nurture their creativity and imagination by giving them such beautiful moments to play with toys – the first friend of every child.

JOY OF LEARNING

With KVT’s motto as the theme of the workshop, which was organized by Young Indian – it was truly a joyful learning experience for the middle compartment students with Mr.Selvam, the theater therapist. He spell bounded the enthusiastic students through interesting activities and he also enlightened and enriched the students with various values like how to control their body parts, stage rules and techniques to enhance their imaginative skills. The students too actively participated and had a good time at the workshop.

CROWNING THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW

“A Leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” It was the proudest moment for us at KVT as our newly elected student council was inducted at the Investiture ceremony which held alongside with the Inauguration of the clubs. The newly elected Leaders were greeted and presented with their official badges and the clubs too were declared open by the unveiling of club names and handing over of files to the club in charges, club president and secretary by the esteemed Chief Guest Major Dr. Arun Nagendran, Associate Professor of Zoology, Thiagarajar College of Arts and Science and by our Honourable Correspondent Mr. T. Sathiyamoorthy along with the Executive Director Mr.S. Manikkavasagam and Principal Mrs A.Vijayalakshmi.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees”

We at KVT celebrated International Yoga Day by performing a mass yoga event at our school premises to encourage the KVTians to rediscover themselves by sharing the light of awareness into the darkest corner of their bodies. This solemn occasion was graced by the resource persons Mr.Chandrasekar and Mr. Muthu Krishnan from Art of Living representing Young Indians along with our Honorable Correspondent Mr. T. SathiyaMoorthy, Executive Director Mr.S. Manikkavasagam and our Principal Mrs. A.Vijayalakshmi.

HAPPY FIRST DAY

Summer has flown by and the school classrooms and corridors were filled with the sounds of laughter and excitement for the new academic year .The children of KVT had a happy first day at school by the warm welcome from the management and the teachers, and also through various fun filled activities.

KVT’s educational landscape has been significantly transformed by the technology. To cater the growing needs of this Alpha gen KVT has taken a step forward by digitalizing the whole campus with the AI technology for better learning experience. Digital classrooms with IIP Board, e-Learning platforms and interactive educational software’s have been installed for our kids to enhance their learning experience.

Summer Camp

Unplug, Explore & Grow

KVT crafted a 10 days summer camp from 15.04.2024 to 27.04.2024 which was specially designed for the students to come together, have fun and learn new things. It enabled the students to develop their confidence, social skill, handwriting skill and physical fitness. In recognition of their accomplishments and successful completion of their course, each student was awarded with a participation certificate.

GRADUATION DAY

KVT proudly celebrated its Kindergarten Graduation day with great festive and pomp. This grand occasion was graced by the presence of Dr.R.V.JayaBalaji, M.D.(Pediatrician, Vellamal Medical Hospital, Madurai.)along with our Hon. Correspondent Mr.Sathiyamoorthy, Executive Director Mr.Manikkavasagam and Principal Mrs.Vijayalakshmi. The parents were on cloud nine filled with pride and joys of no bounds when their tiny graduates were awarded with the graduation certificate by the Chief Guest Dr.R.V.JayaBalaji. This day also proved to be the true manifestation of the talents of our tiny KVTians, through colourful and mesmerizing dances, Mimeshow and Fashion Parade.

International Women’s Day Celebration (08.03.2024)

To honour, and celebrate womanhood, KVT celebrated the International Women’s Day. In connection with this glorious occasion, We KVTians performed an activity by forming a symbol for Women’s Day by using the bottle caps to mark the occasion and to create awareness about the waste plastics and ways to reuse them in an artistic way.

CLUB VALEDICTORY FUNCTION

The valedictory function of the various clubs of KVT was celebrated with great enthusiasm.Each club presidents presented the list of activities they did for the academic year 2023-24 and explained how helpful it was for them. Following which the members of each club presented colourful,entertaining and informative programmes,displaying their talents and exhibiting what they have learnt through their club activities.

14th Annual Day Celebration

KVT celebrated its 14th Annual Day with great festive fervour and pomp. The whole campus was filled with best of its spirits. This occasion was graced by the presence of Dr.Siva Subramainan(Rtd.) Senior Scientist and Chief General Manager ISRO along with our Hon. Correspondent Mr.Sathyamoorthy, Executive Director Mr.Manikavasagam, Trustee Mrs.Maheswari and Principal Mrs.Vijayalakshmi. Toppers of the Board Exams, Proficiency achievers, students and faculties who maintained full attendance for the academic year (2022-23) were honoured and appreciated with shields. Faculties of KVT who has completed five and ten years of service in KVT too were honoured. This day proved to be the true manifestation of the talents of the KVT’ians, through colourful and mesmerizing dances, blissful music and songs and thought provoking skits.

Republic Day Celebration

The 75th Republic day was celebrated with pride and reverence at KVT.The ceremony began with the unfurling of the tricolor flag,march past by NCC cadets,speeches and patriotic songs by the students,which instilled the profound sense of belonging and the duty towards one’s nation.The celebration proved to be a reminder that each student is a custodian of India’s legacy and their action contributes to the ongoing saga of the world’s largest democracy.

Pongal Celebration

Pongal Celebration in KVT truly manifests our rich Tamil culture and tradition. The whole school atmosphere was reflecting the Tamil heritage. Our students were made to feel proud about their lineage through various programs like song, dance, speech and debates. Children were also taught good old, long-forgotten traditional games and made to play. And thus they enjoyed the whole day in their traditional attire.

Twins Day Celebration

The Twins Day celebration was absolutely beguiling for the Children of KVT. As we are proud to have some Twins and Triplets amidst us. It was mind blowing as they mesmerized everyone when they walked on the ramp together. It was a learning experience for others that, in spite of the same genetic make-up, these twins and triplets have their own distinctive personalities.

Christmas Day Celebration

Christmas and New year is a season of joy and giving, and KVT’s whole atmosphere is filled with the best of its spirits, colourful stars, Christmas tree and Crib added beauty to the season, with our choir singing Merry Carols, our students staging nativity play and our dazzling tiny tots dancing for jingle bells and the Santa’s surprise entry made the day even more joyful. The celebration also heralds the start of the New Year.

Veggi's Day Celebration

Our Tiny Tots of Pre-Primary celebrated Veggi’s Day with great enthusiasm. They disguised themselves as their favourite vegetable and spoke about the goodness of eating the vegetable. Veggi’s day made our little buds to acquaint with the health and beneficiary facts of eating vegetables to live a long and healthy life.

Republic Day and Bharathiyar Day Sports(2023-2024)

Kudos to Riya Sri of Grade – 9 who made us proud as she brought laurels to KVT by bagging Gold Medal in Judo-below 52Kg in the Under 17 category at Madurai Revenue District Level competitions and was selected to participate in the State level competition.

Children's Day

“Children are the budding stars, the more you embrace them, the more they shine”. KVT celebrated Children’s Day with great fervour to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India who was extremely fond of children and believed that the future of India lies in the hands of children. Teachers were holding the stage, putting up mesmerizing cultural events for their children and made them feel special on the day of theirs with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Diwali Celebration

The festival of lights as celebrated with great festive fervour through colorful and splendid performances of the kids. Our kids were educated & encouraged to celebrate Diwali in a eco-friendly way. Later, the fire Department Police officials demonstrated how to fire crackers in the safest way and how and what to do if injured by fire. The whole KVTians, were made aware of how to enjoy safe and Eco-friendly Diwali.

Pink Day

Our Tiny Tots of Pre-Primary celebrated Pink day with great joy. Their Class Rooms were decorated with pink, and objects reflecting various shades of Pink. Adding beauty and sheen to the day, the kids too dressed themselves in pink attire radiating love, beauty and kindness, thus making it a perfect Pink Day.

Vijayadashami

KVT geared up to welcome the tiny tots to the world of education on the auspicious day of Vijayadashami. Vidhyarambam was done by making the children write the Tamil alphabet ‘அ’ in paddy in the presence of our Correspondent Mr.SathiyaMoorthy, Executive Director Mr.Manikavasagam and Principal Mrs.VijayaLakshmi. On this auspicious day, the newly constructed Lift facility was inaugurated by our Correspondent Mr.SathiyaMoorthy.

Shapes Day Celebration

Our Kindergarten kids celebrated Shapes Day on 27.10.2023. An array of activities conducted on that day. It also helped them learn how to relate the objects and nature around them with respective shapes. It was a pleasant learning experience for the kids.

Tritiya Sopan Training Camp for Scouts and Guides

The Scout and Guides students of KVT attended Tritiya Sopan Training Camp which made them eligible for the Rajya puraskar Testing camp. It was four day camp conducted at PKN CBSE School, Thirumangalam.

Climate Club

On our venture to create awareness about the environment on behalf of Climate club, various activities were conducted for the Primary kids ranging from Art from waste, Poster Making and slogan writing on how to conserve and save nature. Students participated eagerly and did creative and wonderful work on the given topics.

Nav-Rathri Celebration

Nav-Rathri was celebrated with Pomp and festivities at KVT. Golu dolls representing various Gods, cultures and traditions of India added beauty to the festival. The specialties and importance of each day were instilled in the young minds through activities performed in the assembly. Rituals and Prayers were offered daily for the Peace and goodness of the world and for the bright future of our students.

GREEN DAY CELEBRATION

JOY OF LEARNING

The management of KVT facilitated a Joy of Learning experience for our Primary kids, Where the resource person Mr. Selvam, Theater therapist of YI actively involved our students in various activities like story telling, concentration games,Repeat games,body language and puppetry show. Students were encouraged to actively participate and express their talents. They were motivated to work as a team and to communicate well.

CAREER GUIDANCE

Eleventh and Twelfth standard students are benefited through the Career Guidance Programme conducted by KVT in association with Yi. The Resource person Mr.Sudhakar made the students tell about their ambitions and helped them by briefing on the subjects and colleges that they can select to pursue their Education to have a bright future.

VINAYAGAR CHATHURTHI CELEBRATION

The tiny tots of KVT celebrated ‘Vinayagar Chathurthi’ in a grand manner. Kids dressed up like little Ganesha, Chanted slogans and sang songs about Lord Ganesh, narrated story and enacted skits on the birth and life of Lord Ganesh, thus bringing the spiritual feel in the minds of the audience.

CHILD SAFETY

‘The true characters of a society is revealed in how it treats its children’. The trainers of KVT were trained through the workshop ‘CHILD SAFETY’ by Mr. Deepak Lakshmanan of Young Indians (YI) in association with KVT on 15.09.2023. The Workshop proved to be an eye opening session for all the teachers to be that ‘confident’ whom a child trusts and always looks up to. Teachers also took oath to ensure the safety of the children in the society.

DENTAL AND AWARENESS CAMP

“Smile is the prettiest thing you’ll ever wear”. The Management of KVT facilitated a Dental and Awareness Camp for the high schoolers to enlighten them with their oral care and health with the experts from Young Indians Dr.Uthanda Hari and his team on 01.09.2023.

NO BAG DAY

The management of KVT in celebration with Young Indians (Yi) organized a workshop on Joy of Learning on 28/08/2023 for the first and second graders. It was conducted by Mr.Selvam, the Theatre Therapist, who not only entertained the kids with his skills but also kindled the spirit of the kids and made them showcase their talents too.

LAUNCHING OF CLIMATE CLUB IN KVT

Yi and the management of kvt jointly ventured and launched the climate club in KVT on a motto to educate the school towards resilient future on 25.09.2023 Ms.Sharmila Devi , the chairperson of Young Indians, madurai train the trainers to enable and empower the students to become champions of the climate club. It was a proud moment for KVTians as our school was selected for launching this programme in madurai district.

MASOOM NATIONAL PAINTING COMPETITION

Masoom National Painting competition was conducted for the students from grades 1 to 12 on 07.09.2023 by the management of KVT and Yi. The young budding artists of KVT eagerly participated and painted themes like

ROAD SAFETY

Chotta Cops of KVT. The middle schoolers of KVT were trained to become ‘Chotta Cops’ by Yi along with KVT on 30.08.23 in which the resource person Mr.Maniram Kumar oriented the students regarding Road safety, rules and regulations relating to the usage of Road Transports.

FIELD TRIP

Real education is hands–on involvement: showing, not just telling; real experiments and field trips and not just “Virtual reality”. We at KVT wanted our students to have such an amazing learning experience beyond the classroom walls. And our students had a great time exploring new horizons, carrying back beautiful lifelong memories.

RED DAY CELEBRATION

Red instills hope, energy and the sense of power! We at KVT celebrated Red Day in a grand manner with an objective to reinforce the effects of Red among our kids. Our school corridor, stage and classrooms were decorated with gigantic butterfly, thorans and different objects and things adding beauty to it. Our tiny tots too dressed up in beautiful shades of Red, thus making it a perfect Red Day.

Teachers Day and Krishna Jeyanthi Celebration

“It was a day of double celebration, as we celebrated Teacher’s Day and Krishna Jeyanthi together. Students of KVT expressed their love, gratitude and appreciation for their teachers through the grand welcome of school band which lead the procession of teachers, thoughtful appreciation quotes around the school walls, songs & poems about teachers and individual appreciation messages which made the teachers felt very special and honoured. followed by that, was an array of colourful programmes related to Krishna Jeyanthi celebration. As an Icing on the top of cake, the celebration ended with mass performance of our tiny tots dressed up like little Radhas and Krishnas, which left everyone with a make good feel which lasted for the whole day.

Celebration of 76th Independence Day and 14th Annual Sports Meet of KVT

76th Independence Day and KVT’s 14th Annual Sports Meet was celebrated in a grandeur manner at Madura College ‘C’ ground. The Chief Guest Dr.T.Ravichandran graced the occasion along with our correspondent Mr.T.Sathya Moorthy and Executive Director Mr.S.Manickkavasagam. Our students participated in various programmes like March past, Theme parade, Mass drill, Yoga, Karate, Silambam, Cycling expressing their patriotic and sportsman spirit. Players of each House participated in all the sports events and gave their best to make their House team win the overall trophy. All the winners were awarded with medals and shields and finally Topaz House bagged the winner trophy and Ruby House bagged up the runners. Moreover the Theme, year of Millets was stressed through the event and each and every student of KVT was presented with a box of seed balls around 7200 and sapling of “Tulsi” were encouraged to grow plants on their own, and to follow the healthy eating habits of our ancestors. Thus the day was celebrated with great joy, a sense of freedom in mind, Faith and true sportsmanship in their souls.

Yellow Day

Shades of Yellow stimulate happiness, energy and optimism. We at KVT celebrated Yellow Day in a grand manner with an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour among our tiny tots. The school arena was decorated with shades of yellow starting from Gigantic Giraffe cut outs, thorans, objects and things, not only that, even our kids too dressed up in beautiful shades of yellow who were crowned with yellow crowns. Thus making it a perfect and complete Yellow Day.

“Educational Development Day”, Birthday of our former Chief Minister K.Kamaraj was celebrated at KVT as a tribute to him , through the informative skit on life of Kamaraj , song and dance praising his contributions to the people of India. Thus the day was observed to honour and highlight the remarkable achievements taken by Karma Veerar Kamaraj.

Our Primary kids had a great time experimenting and learning new things in group time, where they involved themselves with all eagerness to learn and explore new horizons, Ranging from acquiring the knowledge of traditional Millets and food made from millets solving the magic square and making of Robotic hands.
The group time activities truly served as a feast to the craving minds.

We at KVT were full on gear to welcome our children back to school. The whole atmosphere became colourful and full of life with attractive welcome boards, classroom decorations and Happy First day Badges. As they step inside the new academic year 2023-2024 with new dreams, new hopes and new aspirations for their future.
Highschool and Middle school children started their new academic year on 12.06.2023 with a responsibility to prove their best.
Primary school children started their new academic year on 14.06.2023 for new experiences and adventures.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION

On account of International Yoga day Celebration, KVT joined with Young Indians and Isha foundation to conduct a Mega Event, where the children of KVT joined together and performed yoga to bring awareness and to inspire others the benefits of yoga and to practice yoga regularly.

GRADUATION DAY

The most awaited UKG Graduation Ceremony was celebrated with great zeal and fun on 11.03.2023(Saturday) at KVT Campus. The event was graced by Dr.Dhanya Sanathkumar MD.,DCH.,DNB.,Senior Consultant and Pediatrician, Preethi Hospital,Madurai.
The UKG graduates passed out their Kindergarten and were awarded with Graduation certificates. Kids looked pretty in their graduation robes and certificates. The blossoming blooms of Upper Kindergarten left the audience spell bound with their vibrant performances.
The Chief Guest addressed the gathering by her invigorating words and enlightened the audience. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones as they received their Graduation Certificates.

VEGGIE’S DAY

Aimed at inculcating good healthy food habits among the young ones right from the beginning, VEGGIES’S DAY was celebrated by the Kinder Garten students of KVT on 13.1.2023.The tiny tots arrived in the attires matching the day’s celebrations with vegetables of their choice and captivating the gathering. The students also explained the importance of different vegetables for healthy growth and protection from diseases. It was a fun filled day with lot of activities to create awareness among children about the importance of regular consumption of vegetables and promote healthy eating habits.

PONGAL CELEBRATION

The pongal festival celebration in our school, is a true manifestation of our rich culture and traditions. Each and every part of the celebration was organized at its vibrant best . At a colourful function organized at the school playground, which was converted into a rural milieu. The major four days of Pongal was depicted in the ground with its true fragrance and flavours.The students were spellbound to witness the collection of the ancient & traditional things used by our forefathers which was displayed in front of the stage. Firstly pongal celebration started with colourful presentations of cultural programmes by students. It includes traditional dance, speech ,pattimandram and songs. Then the students played the traditional games of Tamilnadu guided by a team of teachers. It was a good oppurnity for students to learn about culture & traditions.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

Our school celebrated India’s 74th Republic Day with great eclat. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The guest members were presided to the flag hoisting ceremony by our school band team. The National flag was hoisted by the chief guest and the KVTians saluted the National flag and pledged to up hold the honour and integrity. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love of the motherland through variety of cultural programmes and the school campus reverberated with patriotic favor and enthusiasm.

ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION

On 4.02.2023(SATURDAY) our school celebrated the 13th Annual day of KVT with the theme NAVARASA in the school premises.The function was presided over by our school Correspondent Mr.SATHIYA MOORTHY.T , Trustee Ms.Maheswari & the Executive Director Mr.MANICKKAVASAGAM.S. The Plastic Man of Madurai , Padmasree DR.RAJAGOPALAN VASUDEVAN was the special guest. The event was officially opened when the chief guests lit the lamp.The Full attendance achievers and top scorers of the board examination received certificates , medals and prizes.Teachers were awarded and appreciated for their remarkable productivity in the board exam results and for the completion of 5 and 10years of service in KVT. Students of various classes took part in and performed an array of cultural events depicting the nine rasas of life which was most appreciated by the audience.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

Christmas Celebration at KVT was organized on 22nd December 2022. One could easily notice the excitement of Christmas in the students’ eyes. A very beautiful crib was prepared by a team of teachers which brought added glory to the celebration. All students were assembled in the assembly area for the programs. Carol songs were sung, dance was performed, skits, a drama was staged, and so on. A person dressed up as Santa Claus paraded through the crowd and distributed sweets to the students. By the end of the program, the Principal addressed the gathering with Christmas & New year wishes. The sound of merry bells echoed on the campus and filled the hearts with bliss.

CHILDRENS DAY

“Every child is a different kind of flower and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden”. Children’s Day reminds us of the birth of Pt. Nehru, our country’s first Prime Minister.KVT celebrated CHILDREN’S DAY with all its radiance and glory. All the students are cordially welcomed by the teachers with flowers and sweets when they entered the school premises in the morning. The day was commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm, and magnificent prayer followed by a variety of cultural programs planned by the teachers for the children where the teachers entertained them out of love for their beloved students with a variety of programs on stage. The garden of KVT was glowing gracefully and colorfully with the presence of our student community on the occasion of Children’s s Day celebrations. All the students enjoyed the day to the fullest.

TOURNAMENT

We hosted the 2nd District level basketball tournament and 5th District Level Table Tennis Tournament for KVT’s Rolling Trophy. The inauguration was presided over by the chief guest Mr. P. Senkathir, DIPE, Madurai District, and the Valedictory was presided over by the chief guest Mr. Badri Narayanan. Gold Medalist, Para-Badminton International medalist.
Winning isn’t everything, but wanting to win is! Nearly 38 teams participated in the Table Tennis Tournament and 25 in the Basket Ball tournament and every team which participated, played with their fullest potential and with sportsman spirit to grab the trophy.

11.11.2022 was a day of Fun with shapes at KVT school. Various activities were organized to encourage participation and to promote the creative and aesthetic skills of our students.
Tiny tots of KG enjoyed some great ideas and played simple games about learning shapes. A fun-filled and joyful activity provided our little ones a platform to develop and showcase their latent talents.
Highly enthusiastic and excited students engrossed in creating beautiful things with different shapes were really worth seeing.

Sparkle and Shine! Its Diwali!
KVT, which illuminates the student’s life with the brightness of education by warding off ignorance, rightfully celebrated the festival of lights in a grand manner through awe-inspiring speech, skit, colorful and graceful dance, and melodious song.

GREEN DAY

Everything around us is an array of colours. Green is the most common colour in the natural world, think of nature and see green in all its glory expressing renewal, life and energy.
In order to teach our children about the uses of colours in their immediate environment and to help them develop an understanding of green colour in many forms, KVT organized different activities on 14.10. 2022 for the tiny-tots of Nursery.
All the students and teachers came dressed up in different shades of green and the classes became vibrant with the beautiful green backgrounds. Students were taught the identification and recognition of green vegetables, leaves, trees and various green objects Celebration of the green day provided an opportunity for the little KVTians a practical learning experience with joy.

KVT celebrated Youth Awakening Day, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, on 15.10.2022 (Saturday). It is celebrated to recall insightful thoughts to empower the youth and transform India into a prosperous nation.

GOLU-NAVARATHRI

Illuminating towards the right path
The brightness of Navarathri fills our days with cheer and our dreams come true. The celebration started by offering prayer to Goddess Nav Durga and seeking blessings to protect everyone from evil. An eye-captivating Golu arrangement was done in the school lobby and the pooja was performed every day to invoke the blessings of god to the entire universe. The divine bells and the prayerful minds made the entire campus filled with positivity.

RED DAY

‘RED’ “The colour of love and smiles and illuminates the air with energy, vigour and exuberance……..”
‘Red’ colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality. The day started off with the colour red everywhere red dress, red rose, red teddy, red car, red apples, red cherries, here a red………. there is a red….. red everywhere ……..our little ones spent a spectacular red day. Bulletin boards displayed red craft works done or prepared by the children. The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful.
The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children sort and classify objects based on colours thereby reinforcing cognitive skills. It was a fun-filled day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness.

TEACHERS DAY

Saluting the Master Builders of the young Minds. ‘Thank You’- Though a simple word, is a meaningful phrase. The students of KVT expressed their sense of gratitude by presenting a band of wishes and cards prepared out of their own creativity to their lovable teachers. Students entertained the teachers with their scintillating performances on stage. Words of gratitude were expressed by the students for their teacher’s selfless efforts in molding their bright and successful future.

VINAYAGAR CHATHURTHI

Ganpati Bappa Morya!
Festivals build group cohesiveness, bring people together, break the monotony of routine, and energize the body, mind, and spirit. Echoing this festive spirit, KVT celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with much zeal and zest in a virtual assembly on 11 September 2022. Students of class II presented various programs to instill the significance of Lord Ganesha.

KRISHNA JAYANTHI

Truth can never be destroyed, One should not be afraid of doing good.
The Festival, Janmashtami of Lord Krishna was celebrated on 18.08.2022 with great zeal and pomp. The holy book of Hindus, The Bagavath Githa was recited and explained by the students of Std XII in English & Tamil. The tiny tots came dressed up as Radha and Krishna and stole the hearts of the viewers. Various cultural events depicting the birth of Krishna and in praise of Krishna were performed by an enthusiastic team of students.

On 15.08.2022 with great patriotic feeling and respect, Independence Day was celebrated. The Chief Guest unfurled the Tricolor Flag and all in unison sang the Flag song. From singing patriotic songs to presenting a variety of programs the day went on with the fragrance of Patriotism in all the minds. A vibrant patriotic parade was displayed by the students dressed up as freedom fighters. Flags and Sweets were distributed to the students to mark the day.

YELLOW DAY

Yellow- the color of wisdom and intellectual energy had a positive influence on our tender tots.”Shades of yellow stimulate our little ones with happiness, energy, and optimism…….
The motive of celebrating this yellow day was to make the children aware of the yellow color, and its significance to develop fine motor skills in the students. A day dedicated to the yellow color was marked with children dressed in different hues of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favorite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day”!
Focusing on the theme, the teachers planned art and collage activities and the children’s artworks were displayed on the soft boards. Cheerful Children attired in yellow outfits were sparkling with optimism, enlightenment, and happiness. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment.

TOY’S DAY

“Toys are children’s words and play is their language.”
The relationship between a child and a toy is like a relationship between flowers and their fragrance, as both cannot be separated. As toys are not only meant for playing but also for enhancing knowledge and skills in the kids.
We at KVT celebrated toys day on 15.07.2022 to instill speaking skills among the tiny tots. Students brought their favorite toys to create a Toyland. The little ones were encouraged to come out of their inhibitions and speak about their toys. This activity also enhanced the value of “Sharing is Caring” in the minds of the young ones.

KAMARAJAR’S BIRTHDAY

Not everyone’s life is history, No history has ever lived for himself.
On 15.07.2022, The King Maker- Kamarajar’s birthday was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect.
Our students presented colorful cultural programs and speeches. Indeed, it was a day of love, joy, and respect for our great leader.
As part of the celebration music, drawing, essay, and oratorical competitions were conducted class-wise to portrait Kamarajar’s elevations from a simple person to a successful Kingmaker of the Indian Cabinet.

Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice. It plays an important role in relaxing the mind and body and boosting people’s immune systems.
International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st, June in KVT with the theme “YOGA FOR HUMANITY”.The students performed various Asanas depicting the benefits of yoga.
Our school Correspondent Mr.Sathya Moorthy presided over the program and delivered the Chief Guest address. He stressed the importance of including YOGA in the student’s life as a daily practice.
